Daily Itineraries

Day 1 - Olbia Costa Esmeralda

Welcome to Sardinia!
We will arrive at Olbia–Costa Smeralda Airport in northeastern Sardinia, a region celebrated for its rich history, vibrant culture, and relaxed Mediterranean charm. From ancient ruins and enchanting old towns to some of the island’s most breathtaking beaches, this area offers the perfect gateway to discovering Sardinia.

Our stay will be at Agriturismo Agrisole, a welcoming countryside retreat—Italy’s charming take on a bed and breakfast—set amid the rolling landscapes of Gallura. Spanning 15 hectares, this idyllic estate invites you to wander through nature, relax beneath open skies, and savor the timeless serenity of the Sardinian countryside.

Once everyone has arrived, we’ll gather for introductions and an orientation to review the itinerary and set our group intentions for the week ahead. We’ll then enjoy a welcome Apericena—a delightful blend of aperitivo (appetizers) and cena (dinner)—at Sole Ruju Retreat Center, offering a memorable first taste of Sardinia’s warm hospitality and authentic cuisine.

Day 2 - Golfo di Marinella & Golfo Aranci

Today begins at a leisurely pace, giving everyone time to arrive and settle in. After breakfast, we’ll head to the crystal-clear waters of the Golfo di Marinella. Shallow waters shimmer in shades of emerald and turquoise, perfect for a refreshing swim, paddleboarding, or simply relaxing under an ombrellone—a classic beach umbrella—with your toes in the soft white sand and a good book in hand.

For lunch, we’ll stay right by the beach and enjoy a delicious fritto misto—crispy, golden fish, shrimp, and calamari—followed by perfectly grilled fish and a fresh, seasonal salad.

After a relaxing afternoon, we’ll make our way to Golfo Aranci. Stroll through the lively marina, where colorful fishing boats bob beside sleek yachts, and watch the fishermen at work. Ah—look at the time: aperitivo o’clock! Sip a glass of local wine or a refreshing Spritz while soaking in the waterfront vibes. We’ll round out the day at a cozy pizzeria, savoring classic Italian pizza topped with the freshest local ingredients—a perfect taste of Italy.

Day 3 - Maddalena Archipelago

After breakfast, we depart early towards the port of Palau where we will board our boat for an unforgettable day. We glide through the turquoise waters of the La Maddalena Archipelago, a protected national park of nearly 60 islands, with waters so clear you can see the seabed below. Jagged granite cliffs, hidden coves, and pristine beaches unfold along the way, including Budelli’s famous pink sand beach.

Time seems to slow as we drift from bay to bay—perfect for swimming, snorkeling, or simply soaking in the views from the deck. A simple, delicious lunch awaits on board, featuring freshly made crab pasta. The onboard bar offers coffee, wine, or a refreshing drink as you gaze at the sea. Between stops, there’s time to chat with fellow passengers and learn from the skipper about the local geology of this archipelago.

We return to port with salty hair and sun-kissed skin, feeling as though we’ve discovered a secret world where adventure and serenity meet.

After a day at sea, we’ll head back to Agrisole for an authentic Sardinian dinner at Monica’s Restaurant, a four-course farm-to-table feast celebrating the region’s flavors and seasonal ingredients.

Photographic wonder: endless photo moments—from sculpted rocks and hidden coves to vivid turquoise waters and soft sand.

Day 4 - A Taste of Sole Ruju

Our day begins at a leisurely pace, giving us time to recharge. After breakfast, we’ll head to Sole Ruju Retreat Center, where you can schedule a rejuvenating massage, enjoy a Reiki session, relax in the garden, or set off for a scenic hike.

In the early afternoon, we’ll visit Cantina Murales, a family-owned winery offering an intimate tastings that captures the soul of Sardinia. You’ll be welcomed into its warm atmosphere and guided through the vineyards, cellar, and grounds while learning about the winery’s philosophy. The experience concludes with a curated tasting of elegant Vermentino, expressive Cannonau, and other signature wines, thoughtfully paired with local cheeses and artisanal delicacies. Unfolding at a relaxed pace, the tasting reflects the estate’s commitment to sustainability, artistry, and the land—feeling less like a visit and more like being welcomed into a Sardinian home.

After the wine tasting, the evening is free. Dinner is on your own, giving you the chance to explore the charming town of Olbia at your leisure.

Day 5 - La Pelosa & Castelsardo

Today starts early, and after our delicious daily breakfast, we’ll set off for one of Sardinia’s most iconic beaches—La Pelosa in Stintino. This world-renowned stretch of coast is famous for its powdery white sand, shallow crystal-clear turquoise waters, and a postcard-perfect backdrop featuring the 16th-century Torre della Pelosa and Piana Island. The result is a tropical, Caribbean-like atmosphere in the heart of the Mediterranean. Truly—the views alone will take your breath away.

We’ll enjoy lunch at a nearby restaurant before continuing to another visual delight: the stunning town of Castelsardo. This medieval hilltop village is known for its winding cobblestone lanes, the impressive Doria Castle, vibrant artisan shops, and sweeping sea views. A timeless blend of history, culture, and authentic Italian charm, it is considered one of Italy’s most beautiful villages.

Photographic wonder: We’ll return home with our cameras—and hearts—full, having captured some of the most beautiful places Sardinia has to offer.

After breakfast, we’ll head out for a sweet local experience at Asphodel, an organic wild honey producer. You’ll have the chance to taste and purchase some of the Blue Zone’s finest raw, wild honeys, choosing from seven varieties while learning about their unique health benefits.

In the afternoon, we’ll step back in time with a visit to Nuraghe La Prisgiona, one of seven Nuragic archaeological sites near Arzachena open to the public. Dating back to the Bronze Age, these remarkable stone structures offer a fascinating glimpse into Sardinia’s ancient civilization and distinctive architectural heritage.

We’ll then enjoy a short visit to Arzachena, a charming town where traditional village life meets modern tourism. Stroll through colorful streets, historic piazzas, cafés, and local boutiques, including the steps leading up to the Church of Saint Lucia.
